The Passage to All Things

The Passage to All Things

FaithWear Ministry Scroll- January 29, 2026

Before the foundation of the world, God ordained that the Light would be revealed — the Light that separates darkness from day, exposes the path, and gives life to all who receive Him. “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:4–5). From this Light would come the Savior who rescues the lost, the Teacher who reveals truth, the Ruler who upholds justice, the King whose authority cannot be shaken, the High Priest who stands between heaven and earth, and the Mediator who restores fellowship between God and humanity. When God created all things, He embedded these truths into the systems of the earth. The Light is seen in every sunrise. The Savior is reflected in every rescue. The Teacher is revealed in every system of learning. The Ruler is mirrored in the laws that govern creation. The King is reflected in every structure of authority. The High Priest is seen in every act of cleansing and restoration. And the One who reconciles all things is reflected in every bridge, every restoration, every joining of what was once divided. Creation itself bears witness to who Jesus is — Light, Savior, Teacher, Ruler, King, High Priest, and Mediator — woven into the very fabric of the world He made.

God loves us so deeply that He wrote His decree into all things seen and unseen, so that creation would testify of Him. “For His invisible attributes… have been clearly perceived in the things that have been made” (Romans 1:20). From the beginning, God ordained the earth to receive Jesus Christ as our Savior. His existence is certain. His existence is undisputed. “In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God” (John 1:1). “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). From the first words spoken over creation to the signs written in the heavens, Jesus was declared as the One who would fulfill all that the Father entrusted to Him. “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work” (John 4:34).

When the appointed time arrived, He was born of a virgin, Mary, demonstrating that He was no ordinary child. “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel” (Matthew 1:23). He did not come by the will of the flesh, but by the will of God. “Not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:13). His coming was not hidden. His coming was not uncertain. His coming fulfilled what had been written from the beginning.

He lived among His people, revealed the heart of the Father, and at the appointed time laid down His life — not because He was weak, but because He came to fulfill the purpose for which He was sent. “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord” (John 10:18). He was crucified for our cleansing, that He might safely bring us home to the Father. “Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). He died on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day, just as He said. “He has risen, as He said” (Matthew 28:6).

Jesus is the bread of life given for our daily spiritual provision. “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger” (John 6:35). Just as the body dies without food, the soul withers without the One who gives life. And just as no one can live without water, the same is true when a person rejects the Living Water. “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again” (John 4:14). Jesus Christ is the house in which we are meant to dwell — the place of safety, covering, and rest. “In Me you may have peace” (John 16:33). He is the Light by which we see, the Light that reveals the path and exposes every shadow. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

If you receive Him as your Savior, then believe what He represents and what He desires to accomplish in your life. For without faith, nothing moves. Faith is the requirement of salvation, deliverance, and every work of God. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). You do not marry someone unless you believe they are the one for you. You do not board a plane expecting it to fall from the sky; you step onto it believing it will carry you safely. You do not eat your food believing it will harm you; you eat because you trust it will nourish your body. In the same way, faith is the posture that receives what God has spoken. Faith opens the door to everything Christ has prepared for you.

There is no other way to salvation, and this truth stands undisputed, reflected even in the systems of the world. Every structure built by human hands eventually fails, and every earthly system reveals a need it cannot fulfill — justice that cannot make us righteous, knowledge that cannot give us truth, medicine that cannot heal the soul, and relationships that cannot restore the heart. Creation itself echoes the pattern of salvation: light overcoming darkness, seeds dying to bring life, water cleansing and sustaining, and paths leading from wilderness to safety. Every alternative path collapses, for no philosophy, ideology, or self‑made way can cleanse sin, reconcile us to God, or give eternal life. Their limits expose our need for a Savior, and even the world’s rhythms and boundaries agree with the gospel: “there is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12). Therefore, struggle no more. Receive Him as your Lord, and He will enter your heart and become the Light in your eyes — the Light that changes how you see, how you walk, and how your heart is guided. Declare to your own soul that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He is the King of kings. Be cleansed and purified by His blood, for “everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name” (Acts 10:43). Simply believe, and He will make His dwelling within you.

When you receive Him as your Lord, live in the blueprint He has given us to abide by. Submit your burdens to Him just as He submitted to the Father when He gave His life on the cross. Abide in His love, His grace, His mercy, and His forgiveness — and let these be the measure by which you love others. Give mercy as He has given you mercy. Extend grace as He has poured out grace without measure. Forgive as He has forgiven you, for how shall He forgive our sins if we do not forgive those who trespass against us? Walk in one accord with Him through faith, and let the manifestations of that faith be seen in everything you do and say. Allow your sinful nature — your old self — to fade away, and let His nature, His character, and His life be imprinted upon your whole being. Surrender everything to Him so that He may speak life into all that you are. This is Christ manifest. This is Christ reigning in you. This is the way, the path, and the road to living as children of the Most High.

Benediction

May the Lord, who spoke Light into the darkness, shine upon your path and steady your steps. May the Savior who redeemed you keep you in His peace. May the Teacher guide your understanding, the Ruler order your days, the King guard your heart, the High Priest intercede for your soul, and the Mediator draw you ever closer to the Father. May you enter His rest, walk in His truth, and abide in His love, His grace, His mercy, and His forgiveness — both now and forever. “So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God” (Hebrews 4:9). “And they left rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name” (Acts 5:41). Amen.
