This book is filled with God-inspired poems, praises to Him, mini-stories that glorify the Lord, masterpieces with a Psalm-like nature, and worship songs.
My name is Rodeline Williams, of Filipino descent, born on the beautiful island of Siargao in the Philippines. I am a U.S. citizen and have lived in Arizona since arriving in the United States on July 13, 2007.
Writing was never a journey I anticipated, nor was it something I initially desired. But I believe God was leading me toward it. It all began when someone passionately expressed her dream of publishing a book—her enthusiasm made me consider doing the same. That thought led me to start a journal, commemorating God’s hand moving in my life. As I watched my journal take shape, I began to wonder: Could I write a book?
That possibility inspired me to add Bible verses to my first journal, which eventually became Testimony—my first book. As I continued writing my story, I realized the Lord was truly guiding me, leading me to document all my experiences. That journey has now become this book: Journal: My Heart to God.
Every piece of this book is born whenever the Lord stirs my heart. Sometimes, His presence moves me so deeply that, when I pause to listen, I find myself writing. Other times, I open my mouth, and a song pours forth. Without God moving in my life, writing a book would never have occurred to me.
I feel blessed that someone like me—from a humble beginning, yet awakened by His truth—has been granted this divine opportunity to serve Him. My journey is a testament to His grace, His guidance, and His unfailing presence.
